We been using justhost.com for the last 2 years. suddenly my site got suspended because they claim that we are “utilizing an excessive amount of system resources”. OK, so our traffic is getting bigger which is a normal trend in the online world. So you would expect that they would send an email and tell you have 24 Hours to move your site to a dedicated server.
No, they suspended our site!!!
I immediately opened a ticket and called them over 5 times in the last 24 hours, and this is the answer i keep getting, WE ARE SORRY BUT THE DEPT THAT HANDLE THESE ISSUES CANNOT BE REACHED BY PHONE, AND THE SUPPORT TEAM THAT ANSWERS THE PHONE, DON’T HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH THEM. WOW!!!
I have since sent emails , called open a ticket and NOT ONE SINGLE WORK FROM MYSTERIES CAVE OPERATING DEPT. Even when I made it clear we will do whatever it takes to get the site back up even if we had to pay x10 more for a dedicated server, money is not an issue.
Can you imagine your site going down, and you can’t do anything about. well that’s Justhost.com for you.
Never Again!
I cancelled my service 4 months before my service payment was due, I can no longer afford the service. Before I cancelled I asked the representitive if I would get a pro rated refund. She said yes. It’s been 2 weeks. and 6 emails later and still no refund. 1 Rep throught email tells me no refund, another says yes, another says please wait. Time to contact my lawyer. Buyer beware. Customer service is nice to you aslong as your a paying customer. I will never use JustHost again!
Be careful. I had this problem on 1 May 2011. They are NOT unlimited. They have a limit of 50.000 inodes / account even if you have reseller account. That means you cannot have more than 50.000 files/email/log/etc. together at the same time on their server. A simple Joomla installation is take 6500 inodes (files). So 50.000 inodes, it means you cannot resell.And then they stop your websites without warnings. I recommend to stay away from them.
I’ve been a client of Just Host since 2008. I have had very few problems to date. My web site went down off an on over a month period in the fall of 2010 and the techs quickly gave me a fix that cleared up the problem. I have not had the problem since.
I would recommend these guys to my friends. Nice templates, inexpensive and reliable.

I started with justhost in Novemer of 2010, its now February of 2011. My site had been slowly getting slower. Now it’s been down for half of the last three days. No one can tell me what’s going on. I turns out that they were using a 3rd party to server to host my site and couldn’t do anything about it when the server started having problems. Most of the time my email is down too. They keep telling me that the problem is solved, and then it goes right back down. At first they tried to tell my it was my internet connection, ignoring the fact that they told me this over a chat on the computer that they claimed didn’t have an internet connection!! I’m moving on to a different host. Justhost is okay when things work and a nightmare when they don’t.
